PCG resistors are constructed with one or more steel tube resistor elements and welded into a frame. The resistive element is an active wire that resides inside the steel tube. The tube is made from AISI 304 stainless steel and is filled with magnesium oxide, which has excellent electrical and thermal properties. The connection box is made of aluminum.
